We are delighted to announce a significant and transformative step forward for our community. Today, Real Life Christian Center under the inspired leadership of Bishop Charles and First Lady Pastor Sharon Shaw, a landmark resolution was officially signed and adopted, formally establishing our entire church campus and congregational life as a completely to***co-free environment.

This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to promoting the health, wellness, and spiritual growth of every member. By embracing this resolution, we are dedicating ourselves to preserving a healthier, cleaner, and more vibrant “Holy Ground,” where physical well-being and spiritual vitality can flourish together.

As faithful stewards of God’s gifts, we recognize the importance of caring for our bodies and creating an atmosphere that supports healthy choices for all. This to***co-free commitment serves as a powerful statement of faith, responsibility, and love for our community. It also stands as a lasting legacy for future generations, demonstrating our dedication to fostering an environment where individuals and families can thrive.

We commend Bishop Charles and First Lady Pastor Sharon Shaw for their visionary leadership and thank every member who supports this important initiative. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more faithful community—one that honors God through both spiritual devotion and healthy living.

“For we are God’s temple, and God’s Spirit dwells among us.” – 1 Corinthians 3:16

This past Sunday marked a significant day of community health awareness as The Father’s House Missionary Baptist Church proudly observed No Menthol Sunday under the dedicated leadership of Reverend Dr. Lloyd A. Hill. This important initiative focused on educating the community about the dangers of menthol to***co products and their disproportionate impact on vulnerable populations. Through fellowship, education, and advocacy, the church provided a meaningful platform to encourage healthier lifestyles and informed decision-making.

A key contributor to this impactful event was community health advocate Sister Carol Johnson-Cyrus, who delivered a compelling and informative presentation during the morning worship service. Her message highlighted the science behind menthol’s addictive properties, exposed the to***co industry’s targeted marketing practices, and emphasized the serious health risks associated with to***co use. Attendees also received valuable information about cessation resources and support services available to those seeking to quit to***co products.

The outreach continued later that evening as Sister Carol shared her message with the graduating class of Troy Christian School during their commencement ceremony.
