Horse Spotlight of the Week: Wyatt ⭐️

Meet Wyatt, a handsome bay with an old soul and a youthful spirit. While he may have plenty of wisdom under his belt, his playful curiosity keeps him young at heart.

Wyatt is gentle, steady, and attentive, always taking care of his people while happily soaking up a little attention in return.

We’re so grateful to have Wyatt as part of our program. He’s a very special boy and an absolute joy to have on the Everwild team.

Horse Spotlight of the Week: Huckleberry ⭐️

That smile isn’t even photoshop, this is truly how much of a ham Mr. Huck is!

Huckleberry is without a doubt the most vibrant horse in the program. His outgoing personality makes him so easy to connect with and has a way of bringing individuals out of their shell.

Whether you’re the lucky client getting to ride him or the volunteer getting to lead him, everybody is enamored with this dependable and lovable horse.

We’re so fortunate to have him as part of our program!

One year ago…Everwild began as an LLC with a big dream: to empower growth and connection through the transformative power of the horse and holistic wellness.

One year later, we’re officially a nonprofit, and we’re just getting started!

In our first year, we:
-Served 18 clients at two different locations
-Transitioned from an LLC into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
-Welcomed 12 amazing volunteers
-Worked with 17 incredible horses
-Hosted a very special birthday party
-Held 3 community outreach events, including one with our local veterans
-Hosted our first Adaptive Horsemanship Show & Fundraiser
-Launched a pilot Caregiver Wellness Program

It’s been an exciting year, but we’re even more excited to share where we go from here.

In the coming years, we hope to:
-Expand our existing programs to serve more individuals and families
-Officially launch Operation Stable Ground, a program to serve veterans and their families
-Grow our PT & OT services and the clinical side of our programs
-Develop our horse rescue and rehabilitation efforts, creating a place where horses in need can find safety, healing, and a second chance
-Have our own facility dedicated to providing Everwild services
-Continue building wellness programs that support not only participants, but their families and caregivers too

None of this happens without our community.
To our two amazing barn partners, Seoul Creek Farm & Twilight Farm, and to every client, family, volunteer, horse, donor, supporter, and community partner who has helped bring Everwild to life: thank you for believing in the vision, showing up, and growing alongside us. 💚💜💙

Horse Spotlight of the Week: Onyx ⭐️

Onyx has the most try out of any of our horses in the program. This horse is a master in resiliency. He teaches those coming to heal with Everwild, that the present moment is a much better place to be than the past.

He’s also a beautiful reminder that to connect and find moments of peace with a horse, that you don’t have to ride, you just have to show up.

We’re so grateful to have this sweet black beauty on our team!

Horse Spotlight of the Week: Albert ⭐️

Who doesn’t love a pink horse nose?

Albert is a dependable partner in our program and a true gentle giant. With his calm presence and quiet resilience, he has a special way of helping our riders feel safe, confident, and capable.

One of the things that makes Albert unique is the way he sets boundaries within his herd. Watch him for a few minutes and you’ll see that he is incredibly clear about his communication. He doesn’t need to be loud or aggressive, he simply communicates, holds his ground, and moves on.

It’s a skill we value deeply because boundaries are important for both kids and adults. Albert reminds us that sometimes strength looks like simply knowing your boundaries and standing confidently in your space.

We’re so grateful to have this big-hearted, pink-nosed boy on our team!

The first annual Everwild Horsemanship Showcase & Fundraiser was a huge success Saturday night! Our riders did amazing work!

A special thank you to Courtney and Doug Fromm at Seoul Creek Farm for their continued support of Everwild and for helping us host such a wonderful evening. The bubble guns were definitely a crowd favorite!

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out, donated, volunteered, and helped make the evening possible. Your support means so much and allows us to continue making our programs accessible to those we serve.

All proceeds from the fundraiser are going toward helping clients access Everwild services and supporting the launch of our new veterans program, Operation Stable Ground.

Thank you for helping Everwild continue to grow and serve our community!

Horse Spotlight of the Week: Peppy ⭐️

Peppy may love her scratches and scritches, but what she loves most is taking care of her people. Incredibly intuitive and responsive, she’s always tuned in to her rider’s needs. Whether she’s carrying someone with quiet confidence or standing perfectly still as a first-time rider finds the courage to climb aboard, Peppy meets every moment with patience and grace. She knows her job well, and she reminds us every day just how special a truly trustworthy therapy horse can be.
