People often ask me which I prefer: chair massage or table massage.

The truth is, I like both. They each serve a purpose. But if I had to choose, I would pick table massage every time.

Chair massage is great for quick relief, reducing tension, and introducing people to massage therapy. It can be incredibly effective in a short amount of time.

However, table massage allows me to take a more comprehensive approach. Instead of only addressing the area that hurts, I can assess and treat the body as a whole. For example, back pain isn’t always caused by the back itself. Often, postural imbalances, muscle compensation patterns, or restrictions in other areas are contributing to the discomfort.

With a table massage session, I have the time and access to address those underlying issues rather than simply chasing symptoms. That means we can focus not only on feeling better today, but also on supporting longer-term results.

Both have their place, but when it comes to creating lasting change, table massage gives me the opportunity to do my best work.

Running an independent business means wearing all the hats, marketing, scheduling, client care, and everything in between. On top of that, I’m also an instructor teaching the next generation of massage therapists and balancing all of life’s responsibilities. I truly love what I do, but I also want to be honest, it can be a lot at times 🫣 sometimes I wish I could just live the vacation life 🤣

One simple way to support a small business that most people don’t realize has a big impact is leaving a review. Reviews help increase visibility and bring in local clients more than you might think.

If you’ve received a massage from me before, I would truly appreciate it if you could leave a review on Yelp, Google, Facebook, or MassageBook, whichever is easiest. It does not have to be all of them. Every bit of support genuinely helps and means a lot. 🤍

This message is for those seeking “extras” or sexual services: Massage therapy is a licensed healthcare profession, not prostitution. Massage therapists undergo extensive education and training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, ethics, and therapeutic treatment.

Requests for sexual services are inappropriate, will be refused immediately, and may be documented and reported when necessary.

Every inappropriate request undermines the professionalism and credibility that massage therapists have worked hard to build within healthcare.

And while we’re educating: the correct professional title is Massage Therapist, not “masseuse.”
