Congratulations to Kyle Platt, recipient of the 2026 Reginald Anderson Caregiver Scholarship!

This fall, Kyle will attend High Point University, carrying with him a remarkable story of resilience, compassion, and dedication. As the brother of a 15-year GBM survivor, Kyle has spent much of his life witnessing the challenges that come with a brain tumor diagnosis and the strength it takes for families to navigate that journey together.

The Reginald Anderson Caregiver Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated extraordinary care and support for a loved one facing a brain tumor diagnosis. Kyle embodies the spirit of this award through his unwavering support of his sister and family over the years.

We are honored to support Kyle as he begins this exciting new chapter and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes at High Point University.

Please join us in congratulating Kyle and wishing him the very best in the years ahead!

The rain held off and it was an amazing day!

From inspiring survivors and dedicated supporters to our incredible honorees, volunteers, sponsors and members of the brain tumor community, this day was a powerful reminder of what it means to be Stronger Together.

Because of YOU, the 13th annual Path of Hope became our most successful event yet, raising over $270,000 to support brain tumor patients, families, research and outreach efforts across Connecticut.

Thank you for walking beside us with hope, courage and compassion every step of the way.

Today, members of the CTBTA gathered at the State Capitol to raise awareness, share education and bring hope to the Connecticut brain tumor community.

Alongside fellow board members, volunteers, patients and their families, we had the incredible honor of being introduced on the floor of both the House and Senate in advance of Brain Tumor Awareness Month this May.

A powerful day of advocacy, unity, and purpose, all an important step forward in amplifying the voices of those impacted.
