Let’s talk about how to break free of the “rules”…

There are a lot of unspoken rules in our society that try to keep you from stepping into your true potential. Like, women should avoid lifting heavy weights, or that as you get older, you should slow down your workouts. Or how about this one? You’re “too old” to wear certain styles. And one of my personal favorites? “Dressing for your age”… 🤦‍♀️

These dumb, outdated rules were created to hold badass women like you back. Confidence comes from wearing what makes you feel good — and lifting what makes you feel strong — no matter what anyone else thinks. Whether you’re 25 or 55, it’s about wearing what empowers you and pushing your limits, inside and out. It’s time to let go of the “shoulds” and break free from what society says is acceptable for your age. You define your style and your strength, and it’s time to show up as your true, confident self. 💪

Ladies, proper form is EVERYTHING when it comes to working out efficiently and safely. If you’re not focusing on your form, you’re not only wasting your time but also setting yourself up for injury. 🤕

With a million things to do every day, it’s easy to rush through exercises, but without the right technique, you’re not getting the any benefit of your hard work. ⚠️

Can you believe it’s already the end of January?! It feels like 2025 just started, but here we are wrapping up the first month 🥂

I like to break down my yearly resolutions by month to keep myself on track. That means by the end of January, I aim to be 1/12th of the way to completing my goals for the year. Whether your fitness goals are to tone up, lose weight, eat healthier, or just get started, now is a great time to check in with yourself and see if you’re on track to keeping the promises you made to yourself this year. 🎯

If you’re thinking, “I still have so much time left this year—I can wait to make it a priority,” trust me, I get it. As a former procrastinator (especially when it came to prioritizing myself), I’ve been there. That’s why I’ve taken all the guesswork out of starting, so you can just jump in and do it. What a blessing it is to have so much to be thankful for 🤍

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope your day is filled with good food, laughter, and time with the people who mean the most to you.

As I get older, I realize more and more how precious life is. It’s not about the big things—it’s the little moments that make it all worthwhile. The conversations around the table with my two amazing children—both firefighter paramedics—and my sweet grandkids make me realize just how special these moments are.

So, take a second today to soak it all in. Appreciate the people around you, hold them close, and remember how lucky we are to share these moments. Wishing you all a beautiful Thanksgiving! 🦃❤️
