October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and ISALAS is honored to sponsor the SilverThreads Retreat, a meaningful gathering that brings together Southeast Asian women navigating breast cancer and their caregivers for connection, reflection, encouragement, and support.
Life can bring seasons of pain, uncertainty, and challenges we never expected. During these difficult times, it is important to remember that caring for ourselves is just as important as caring for others. Sometimes, taking a moment to pause, breathe, and be present can help us find peace, strength, and hope amid life's uncertainties.
Although we cannot always change the challenges we face, we can remind ourselves of the love that surrounds us, the strength within us, and the beauty that still exists in each day. Everyone deserves moments of rest, encouragement, and connection, especially when life feels overwhelming.
At ISALAS, we believe in supporting our communities and helping individuals and families protect what matters most—their health, well-being, and future. Sponsoring this retreat is one small way we can show our support for these incredible women and the caregivers who walk alongside them.
