WHY CHOOSE ME?
You have a lot of options when it comes to choosing a trainer in the Conejo Valley, let alone virtually. You might be looking around, trying to figure out what fits into your busy life.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - no matter what kind of mood I'm in , when I go in to teach a class whether it's barre, pilates, bootcamp, or HIIT, I set my personal life aside, go into educator (or performer) mode, start reading the room, and deliver the best class I can. My clients say they take my group classes because their session is the ultimate reset for their mental well-being after a chaotic week.
Here is what Kelly Cannan, a local realtor and fellow mom (our children go to the same school!) shared after making it back to class:
"I had to change my workout schedule a few months back and I've really missed the Barre Class at the 'Y'. I was able to go last Friday and I was so excited. Gigi makes the class about physical and mental health and after a long week, I needed both."
Life gets busy, schedules shift, and stress piles up. When you take my class - whether it's in person at the YMCA, or virtually with me through Five Miles Further, the goal isn't to punish your body for what you ate or to exhaust yourself to the point of burnout. The goal is to move intentionally, release the mental weight of your week, and leave feeling entirely renewed.
Next time you feel completely overwhelmed after a long, stressful week, try this:
Commit to "Movement as Medicine": Instead of skipping your workout because you are mentally exhausted, scale it to match your energy. Drop the intensity, focus heavily on your breathing during each movement, and treat that hour as dedicated space just for you.
