Fall is officially laser season! It’s the absolute best time of year to repair summer sun damage and give your skin a total reset.
⁣
If you’re struggling with fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth or cheeks, the ProFractional Erbium Laser should be on your next treatment schedule!
⁣
As a high-precision, ablative resurfacing treatment, it works by making microscopic channels in the skin to stimulate deep collagen production while leaving surrounding tissue intact. This triggers your body to shed damaged layers and grow brand-new skin for that radiant, super-refreshed glow. ✨

What’s beneath the surface matters. 👋
⁣
Facial Ultrasound gives us another layer of information when assessing your face—allowing us to visualize existing filler, better understand your anatomy, and make more informed treatment decisions.
⁣
Had filler done years ago or somewhere else and no longer happy with it? Ultrasound can also help us identify old or migrated filler, dissolve more strategically when needed, and create a plan to rebalance your features.
⁣
Because great results don’t start with guessing. They start with a better assessment. ✨

Achieving that glass skin is about combining strategic treatments with daily skincare habits. Here’s that exact routine for a beautiful, glowy skin:
⁣
1️⃣ Smooth: tox for fine lines and wrinkles
2️⃣ Refine: PRF microneedling every 3 months
3️⃣ Tighten: Morpheus8 for jawline & neck
4️⃣ Protect: Sunscreen every morning
5️⃣ Renew: Retinol every night
6️⃣ Reset: Perfect Derma Peel (my favorite fall treatment! 🍁)

Back from Utah with fresh knowledge, advanced techniques, and some exciting upgrades coming to Face By Jo! 🤍
⁣
I just completed an Advanced Injectables & Ultrasound Masterclass at RUMA Academy , expanding my skills in facial ultrasound, advanced filler techniques, and some of the newest developments in regenerative aesthetics.
⁣
Having worked with ultrasound for years during my time in the hospital, I’ve always wanted to bring a form of imaging into my aesthetic practice. I’m so excited to now incorporate facial ultrasound at Face By Jo, allowing me to visualize each patient’s unique anatomy in real time and bring an additional level of precision, safety, and confidence to treatment planning and injections.
⁣
Along with ultrasound, I’ll also be implementing new advanced injectable techniques and regenerative treatments I learned during this training.
⁣
Continuing my education and evolving my techniques is such an important part of how I practice. Your safety, results, and individualized care will always be my #1 priority. Can’t wait to bring everything I learned back to the treatment room! 🤍

Tox vs. Filler: Do you need one, or both?

🧠 Tox = Muscle Relaxer
Works beneath the surface to relax the specific muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles when you make facial expressions.

💧 Filler
Uses hyaluronic acid to restore lost volume, hydrate, and contour areas that naturally thin over time—like cheeks, lips, jawlines, and deeper static folds around the mouth.

Combined, they create a balanced, totally natural refresh.

Answering FAQ’s about Microneedling! ✨

For me, microneedling is the ultimate all-rounder treatment. It triggers your body’s natural healing response to boost collagen, smooth texture, fade pigmentation, and give you that healthy glow.

The ‘ber’ months and fall season are truly the perfect time for this treatment. Lower sun exposure gives your skin the optimal environment to heal, recover, and bounce back stronger after a long summer of sun and sweat. ☀️

Ready for your fall skin reset? DM me today to secure your spot or book your consultation! 📥
