CPR has a new country soundtrack!
The American Heart Association recently teamed up with country artist Ella Langley to highlight CPR awareness — and her hit song “Choosin’ Texas” just happens to line up with the recommended CPR compression rate of 100–120 beats per minute.
Who knew your country playlist could help save a life?
While we hope you never have to use CPR, knowing what to do in those first critical minutes can make the difference between life and death. CPR is a skill anyone can learn — and everyone should know.
At Lifeline CPR Consultants, LLC, we bring American Heart Association CPR, AED, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed training directly to your workplace, organization, or group. We make training hands-on, practical, and easy to remember — because when seconds matter, confidence matters.
So go ahead and add “Choosin’ Texas” to your CPR playlist… and when you’re ready to learn the skills behind the song, give Lifeline CPR Consultants a call.

We visited Ella Langley EL HQ 💛 and her band on the Dandelion Tour to teach hands-only CPR, and even her pup, Crüe, wanted in on the action! Every minute matters during cardiac arrest and learning hands-only CPR can save a life!
If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
Saving lives looks good on this crew. ❤️
