We can literally “change our minds” using the unique and safe practice of a process called PSYCH-K.

The name “PSYCH-K” simply refers to the psyche or mind and “K” stands for the key.

Using applied kinesiology (also known as muscle testing) and the body’s meridian system, the PSYCH-K process can transform stress, trauma, old beliefs, behavioral patterns, and much more.

If you’d like more information about how it could work for you, DM me and we can set up a complimentary 20 minute zoom call and discuss your specific concerns and questions.

I'm sure some people have wondered why I've chosen to live apart from my family of origin. This explains it.
I'm sure others share this feeling, but stay connected out of obligation. I have to say that this is one of the most difficult choices I've ever made. But I had to choose myself over the programming that dictates that self-sacrifice is a virtue.

I've done multiple inner child healing sessions, alone and guided by trusted teachers, in order to return to wholeness.

If anyone were to ask me what is the key to healing - it's going back to the beginning, where the wounds were created, and release the pain and trauma from those experiences. Then go back and recognize the child at whatever ages those experiences occurred, and acknowledge her or him, reassure that child that they are now safe, and that you will always be there for them starting now. And then actually be there, with unconditional love and self-forgiveness.

It's not quite as simple as this, but this is the gist of it. It's a beautiful process.

In some families, pain is not processed.

It is buried.

Denied.

Explained away.

Turned into silence.

And then one child grows up feeling everything that everyone else avoided.

They feel the grief.

The anger.

The shame.

The emotional absence.

The wounds no one wanted to name.

This is often how generational trauma works.

It does not only pass through stories.

It passes through silence, coping patterns, parenting styles, emotional distance, fear, shame, and the things families refuse to talk about.

But healing begins when one person becomes brave enough to say:

“This happened.”

“This hurt me.”

“This shaped me.”

“And I do not want to pass it on.”

Breaking the cycle does not mean blaming everyone who came before you.

It means choosing awareness where there was denial.

Choosing truth where there was silence.

Choosing healing where there was survival.

If this resonates with you, I Didn’t Choose to Be Born explores childhood trauma, emotional neglect, dysfunctional family dynamics, generational wounds, and the healing journey of becoming the person who finally stops the pain from being passed down.

Every day presents a new opportunity to learn and grow if we're paying attention.

As a child, I watched way too many movies about nuns and saints and at one point, even thought of becoming a nun. Can you imagine me as a nun? Yikes! Anyway, the idea was that martyrdom was required to achieve sainthood.

For me, this translated to continually giving without thought to the cost - total selflessness. This meant being taken for granted by many (especially my family), avoiding the limelight, not being able to accept a compliment, the inability to receive, and even being a doormat at times. It felt like humiliation coded as humility - like it's a good thing.

This past week I experienced a situation that was painful in that I felt my energy, light, and mind were being siphoned and drained by an energy vampire. That sounds extreme, but trust me, it's real.

After two days of exhaustion, a loss of creativity, and the inability to think clearly, I took matters into my own hands and removed myself from the situation in the best way I could manage. I imagine that what may have looked selfish to others was me taking the actions I required to take care of myself.

It really hit home how much we are expected to be generous because other people have needs that "seem" more important than our own. I learned that I don't need to apologize for taking care of myself. It's a challenging lesson, but when we act positively from of a place of self-preservation, it can empower us.

This doesn't mean harming anyone else. The person's feelings may have been hurt, but I cannot control how other people feel - I can only manage my own.

What does self-care look like to you and how do those around you respond to it?

Art can heal the soul.

Although, I believe that painting can be felt and poetry can be seen.
Can I argue with the master of all masters? :)
