In addition, she runs her own private practice, Morgen Backus Nutrition, where she offers telehealth nutrition sessions and personalized wellness plans, designed to help women understand their bodies and feel confident in their health. Morgen’s passion for nutrition began with her own healing journey. After struggling with IBS and acne in college, she discovered that prescriptions and quick fixes only provided temporary relief. Without the budget for expensive medications or trendy supplements, she turned to food, lifestyle shifts, and plant medicine — and saw her health transform. That experience inspired her mission: helping women cut through the noise of health fads and find lasting results through a personalized, holistic approach. She is also the founder of Off The Leaf Botanicals, a line of intentional herbal products and supplements she personally crafts or curates for her clients. Morgen specializes in working with women who are ready to:

Cycle issues can be a key sign that something is off in your body 🔄

When training is too intense or recovery is insufficient, your body prioritizes the most critical survival functions. Your period is one of the first things it sacrifices.❤️‍🩹

💭Remember: Eating enough is not a reward for training, it is the prerequisite. Your hormones cannot function well in an underfueled body no matter how clean your diet is.

Some days, the big goals feel really big.

That’s when I remind my clients to come back to something simple, just focus on three things. Every day, no matter how simple.

🧘🏾‍♀️One thing for your body (physical health)

Anything that supports movement, nutrition, or rest:
→ Go for a 20–30 minute walk
→ Do a short strength or yoga session
→ Drink enough water throughout the day
→ Cook a balanced meal instead of grabbing fast food
→ Get to bed a little earlier

🧠One thing for your mind (mental stimulation or focus)

Things that help you learn, think, or stay sharp:
→ Read a few pages of a book
→ Listen to a podcast that teaches you something
→ Work on a puzzle or brain game
→ Practice a skill like writing, coding, or a language
→ Plan your day or reflect on goals

🕊️One thing for your emotional & spiritual well-being

Things that help you feel grounded, connected, or at peace:
→ Journal your thoughts or gratitude for 5 min
→ Spend time with someone you care about
→ Meditate or sit quietly for a few minutes
→ Pray, if that’s part of your life
→ Get outside and be present in nature
→ Do something kind for someone else

It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be complicated. But those small, intentional actions… They add up 🤍
