Sometimes the Divine rearranges our plans so something more meaningful can emerge.
This afternoon, my appointments were unexpectedly rescheduled because of a water main outage in our town. What first appeared to be an inconvenience quietly became a gift: a few uninterrupted hours for contemplation, prayer, and writing.
During that stillness, I felt the pull collaberate. There is something deeply beautiful about two voices choosing harmony over separation, each bringing their own truth while creating something neither could have written alone.
As I reflected, one truth continued to illuminate my heart:
“Love is the highest expression of strength.”
And another followed close behind:
“Justice is love expressed through accountability.”
The more I contemplate humanity, the more I believe that justice is not the opposite of compassion. Justice is a natural part of the human experience. Love invites grace. Justice invites growth. Together, they help restore balance.
Being accountable for our own actions is an act of integrity. Having the courage to lovingly hold others accountable is part of our civic duty. Healthy communities are built when compassion walks hand in hand with responsibility.
As this Full Moon rises, I invite you into a simple practice.
Instead of writing a list of everything you hope to achieve, write about how your best life feels.
How does peace feel in your body?
How does deep love feel?
What does freedom from fear feel like?
What does purpose feel like?
What does waking up excited for the day feel like?
Our feelings are one of the gateways to the subconscious mind, the place quietly influencing so much of our daily experience. When we become intentional about the emotions we cultivate, we begin creating from the inside out.
Perhaps that’s why life occasionally pauses our plans.
To remind us that our greatest creations are often born in moments of stillness.
Wishing each of you a beautiful Full Moon filled with reflection, courage, accountability, and love. 🌕✨
Writing is my therapy.
