Connection before correction!
Building safety and depositing the love banks into attachment needs are where this is at.
It’s bottom up co-regulation of the brain & body systems.
Learning ways to course correct are invaluable in the 0-7 yr cycles or they repeat and strengthen the muscles of the brain. Symptoms of dis-regulation. Labeling them, stigmatizing and essentially reinforcing the unhealthy attachment rather than tend to the unmet need of basic human love & support. Creating a healthy earth suit that will know how to put out the chemical re-action to fear based stimuli. Squash it with love & connection, support, sitting alongside, witnessing and sharing the holding of space.
