New look. Same heart. Same mission. 🧡

Over the years, my work has grown beyond the counseling room into teaching, training, speaking, and conversations about mental health, trauma, grief, healing, and the way we see ourselves and one another.

It felt like the right time for the branding to grow with it.

Pathway Counseling Service remains the heart of my clinical work, while Real Talk with Jenn continues to be the space where I educate, encourage, empower, and equip through speaking, training, and authentic conversations.

Two parts of what I do, now brought together under one look and one purpose:

People. Healing. Possibility.

I’m excited for what’s ahead and incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey. 💛

My Trauma Informed Care Ministry Training for Faith Based Organizations equips pastors, ministry leaders, pastoral care teams, prayer teams, mentors, and volunteers with practical tools to recognize trauma and mental health needs, create safer environments, support grief, trauma and healing, and lead with greater confidence and wisdom.

Stronger Churches. Safer People.

Churches are often one of the first places people turn when they are hurting.

Pastors, ministry leaders, prayer teams, mentors, volunteers, and pastoral care teams are walking alongside people carrying trauma, grief, loss, and mental health challenges. The question is: Are we equipped to recognize what we are seeing and respond well?

My Trauma Informed Care Ministry Training for Faith Based Organizations is designed to help church leadership understand trauma, create safer ministry environments, establish healthy boundaries, and respond to hurting people with greater wisdom, compassion, and confidence.

Shame has a way of convincing us that what we’ve done, what we’ve walked through, or what has been done to us somehow determines who we are.

It whispers: You’re not worthy. You’re not whole. You can’t come back from this.

But God says differently.

You are redeemed.
You are worthy.
You are made whole.
You are washed clean.

Shame does not get the final word over your life. God does.

Sometimes we have to stop listening to the voice of shame long enough to hear what God has been saying about us all along.

Back to school means a new rhythm for everyone. 🍎📚

Maybe your mornings feel rushed. Maybe your child is exhausted after school. Maybe you’re a mom feeling more emotional about this transition than you expected. Or maybe you’re a college student packing up and heading to campus this week, wondering what this new season is going to look like.

Here’s your reminder: A new routine does not become a normal routine overnight.

Give yourself time to find your rhythm. Pay attention to what’s working, adjust what isn’t, and give yourself some grace along the way.

The first week doesn’t have to look like the fifth week.

You’re not behind. You’re adjusting. And there is a difference.
