"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning." – Mr. Rogers 🧸

Let them play, explore, and get messy this month. That is exactly how young minds grow!

The sudden shift away from daily school interactions can sometimes lead to feelings of loneliness or social anxiety in kids and teens. 💔

Summer break is a vital time to keep up with emotional wellness. Our counselors work 1:1 with students all summer long to help them build self-esteem, practice social communication, and manage anxiety in a low-pressure environment.

Whether in-person in Winter Park or via virtual sessions, we are here to support your family's peace of mind. Give us a call at (407) 789-0821. We look forward to meeting you and your student!

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” ❤️

June is officially here, and while the kids are relaxing, it is the absolute best time for a Psychoeducational Evaluation. 🧠

Why test now instead of August?

☀️ Zero Academic Stress: Your child is well-rested, meaning we get the truest reflection of their cognitive and academic strengths without end-of-year fatigue or back-to-school anxiety.

⏳ The Gift of Time: Comprehensive reports take time to compile. Testing in June guarantees you'll have your paperwork, diagnoses, and exact intervention plans ready well before school starts.

Don't wait for the late-summer rush. Secure your June testing spot today!

Quick Tip: If you have a reluctant reader, don’t force the physical book this summer. Audiobooks count as reading! 🎧📚

Listening to audiobooks helps build vocabulary, improves language comprehension, and teaches children how fluent reading should sound—all while letting them visualize the story in their minds. It's a fantastic tool for auditory learners and students with dyslexia.

Pop an audiobook on during your next summer road trip! 🚗

"Mom, Dad, I'm bored!" 😩 It’s only June, and you’re probably already hearing it.

Instead of turning to screens, try making a Summer Brain Booster Jar! Write fun, quick activities on slips of paper and have them draw one out when boredom strikes. Examples:

"Read a book under a blanket fort for 20 minutes."

"Find 5 things outside that start with the letter S."

"Measure 3 pieces of furniture using a shoe."

Learning doesn't have to feel like schoolwork to keep their brains active! Want a more structured approach? Our certified tutors offer engaging summer enrichment sessions. 🧠✨
