🎉 Attention Woodinville Pediatric patients and families:

As summer approaches ☀️, we would like to remind you to schedule wellness visits and medication reviews in advance of the new school year.

Appointment availability is limited, so please call early to secure a spot. Our schedule is now available through September.

Bring any necessary forms such as sports forms ⚾️, medication authorization forms 💊, etc., with you to your appointment to allow the provider time to complete & sign. If forms are submitted after the appointment, please allow five business days for signing.

We also recommend contacting your child's school or checking their website ahead of time to obtain any required forms before your appointment.

We look forward to providing care for your children during the upcoming school year.

Finding childcare can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. Here are some tips to help you find the perfect match for you and your little ones:
👭 Reach out to friends and family for recommendations—they often know the best local sitters!
📝 Always check references to make sure the person is responsible, mature, and dependable.
🧸 Don’t forget to interview! If someone seems like a good fit, consider doing a trial run where they meet and interact with your child.
💻 You might want to explore agencies that have already vetted and worked with qualified nannies—they can make your search a lot easier.
💵 Be open about expectations, responsibilities, and pay right from the start so everyone’s on the same page.

Leaving your child with someone else can feel a little scary, but following these tips can help bring you peace of mind, knowing you've found someone who truly understands and cares for your child's needs and interests.

If you are looking for an occasional babysitter, you might decide to employ responsible adolescents from the neighborhood, typically teenagers who are looking to make extra spending money.

Summer Safety Check! 😎

While we love the sun & summer fun, safety comes first! Here is a quick checklist to keep the kiddos safe:

🫗 Stay Hydrated: Keep water bottles nearby and encourage everyone to take a break every 20 minutes, even if they don't feel thirsty.
☀️ Sun Protection: Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen about 15 minutes before heading out and reapply every 2 hours to stay protected.
🌊 Water Safety: Make sure an adult is always supervising near pools, lakes, or tubs. Use lifejackets when needed to keep everyone safe.
🚗 Never Leave Kids in Cars: Temperatures can skyrocket quickly, even with windows cracked. It can get 40-50°F hotter inside the car than outside.
🚴‍♂️ Helmet: Always wear a helmet & pads when biking, skating, or riding scooters.

If you have any questions or want to set up an appointment, give us a call—we’re here to help!

Summertime offers many opportunities for exploration and play in outdoor learning environments. With proper planning, early care and education staff can ensure that children are able to enjoy the summer safely.

The sun has arrived 🌞 As we enjoy the blooming flowers and nice warm breezes, don't forget about our kid's seasonal allergies.

To keep your kids allergy-free and enjoying the weather, here are some quick tips:

👚 Wash clothes and bathe after outdoor play
🪟 Keep windows closed to prevent allergens from coming indoors
🌷 Check pollen counts before heading outside. If pollen is high, opt for indoor activities

Let's have a great summer without all of the sniffles and itchy eyes!

Many children experience seasonal allergies, also known as allergic rhinitis or hay fever. Limiting exposure may help reduce your child's symptoms.
