Massachusetts Women Of Color Coalition

Massachusetts Women Of Color Coalition We envision a Commonwealth of authentic inclusion where racism and sexism no longer dictates the outcomes of women of color and our communities.

Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition is dedicated to eradicating the racial inequities among women of color created by structural, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized racism. We will address racial inequities through authentic inclusion in the areas of politics, education, economic empowerment, criminal justice and health and wellness. Our success will maximize the benefits and contributions for all aggrieved communities of color and the Commonwealth as a whole.

We are honored that Celia Johnston Blue will be a keynote speaker at the 2026 iGrow Leadership Conference this October!

If you’re passionate about leadership, growth, and meaningful connection, this is a conference you won’t want to miss.

🎟 Registration opens July 1. Visit the official website: https://mcleancoachingandconsulting.com/igrow-leadership-conference/

We are so excited to announce that 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 will be one of our keynote speakers for the 2026 iGrow Leadership Conference!

Celia Johnston Blue is a seasoned executive leader with more than 30 years of experience across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. She currently serves as President and CEO of the Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition (MAWOCC), an organization she helped launch in 2015 alongside 12 women of color from across Massachusetts. In this role, she leads efforts to amplify the voices and leadership of women of color statewide.

Prior to MAWOCC, Celia served as Interim Director of the Rhode Island Department of Human Services, overseeing an agency of approximately 1,000 employees and a $900M budget serving nearly one-third of Rhode Island’s population. She also held several leadership roles within the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and made history as the first African American Registrar/CEO of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Celia’s commitment to leadership, equity, and community impact aligns powerfully with this year’s theme: “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘜𝘴: 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺. 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.”

🎟 Tickets go on sale July 1 — be sure to secure your Founders Early Access tickets early! Visit our official website: https://mcleancoachingandconsulting.com/igrow-leadership-conference/
