Meet our artists✨
Hi everyone! I’m Caryl Cunningham. I grew up in the Metro Detroit area in a highly creative household—both of my parents were artists. I attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where I majored in Fine Arts and studied painting, drawing, printmaking, pottery, and jewelry. My work has been featured in shows and galleries, and I also create commissioned pieces, including pet portraiture.
I spent 12 years working in advertising, and tattooing feels like a natural extension of that experience. I love the collaborative nature of tattooing—creating a one-of-a-kind piece that’s uniquely yours and meant to be cherished for a lifetime. Tattoos can be transformative, deeply spiritual, or simply fun and goofy, and I enjoy all of it.
I work in a wide range of styles, from photorealism to traditional. Some of my favorites include floral and botanical designs, pinups, portraits, photo realism, and black and grey.
When I’m not tattooing, you’ll usually find me in my garden with my dog, Mochi—growing vegetables, flowers, and medicinal herbs.
