It was a perfect day at the track yesterday. Mike got a personal record on discus, a seasonal record on shot put, and came in 3rd place in the 100m out of 6 runners, 2nd place in the 200m out of 4 runners. Good job, Mike; we are super proud and can't wait to see how he does Wednesday in EV. Awesome job to all the runners today; they gave it their all. Mike pushed hard at the very end; so proud of him! Thank you to his guide. I have to say, we are so proud of Mike today. His last run, the 200m, was a challenge for him, making those turns, but he did great. He pushed at the end hard; good job, Mike. Great teamwork with his running guide!! 🥲

Good luck, Mike, today! EV heads to Eastmount High School in Wenatchee for a Track and Field Meet. Mike is excited as he will be in four events: 100m, 200m, Discus, and Shot Put. We wish him all the luck and safety, knowing he is in good hands with the best support and coaches. It makes us so happy that he has the opportunity to participate in these events, which has made a big difference in his self-esteem. Thank you, EV High School. Our Super Hero doing what he loves !! 🎗️

Celebrating 11 years cancer-free today, Michael is doing great. In the last week, he had his braces taken off after 18 months, and in a couple of weeks, he starts track, which he is looking forward to. One of his biggest news is that he starts working part-time at a grocery store on weekends . So many accomplishments - we are super proud of him. Today is a big day for him, and we are blessed to celebrate this day with him 🎗️.

Mike’s 1st Homecoming with friends, what a blessing witnessing this milestone in his life, it fills our hearts with joy. He has been eagerly anticipating this night, and despite him saying he wasnt going , he took the leap and went, may he have an unforgettable evening and have fun . He looked so handsome made my heart so happy for him .

1st day of Mikes Sophomore year , he is thrilled to embark on a new academic journey . He is doing phenomenally well , having reached the 3-month milestone post-op follow-up at Seattle Children’s in September after undergoing back surgery , and is recuperating remarkably he said he is eager to dive into school , starting with a few restrictions until the September doctor’s appointment . Congratulations on your 1st day of school Mike !!

Mike went out on Sunday for the first time; he really hasn't wanted to leave the house, he has just been kicking back watching baseball and lots of good movies. He wanted to celebrate his birthday with family and he had a great time. This weekend the plan is to take him out to our little area which we have a little place he can hang out and get sime fresh air and still still back and watch movies and basically still just relax in the mountains.
