Most people are told, “Your thyroid labs are normal.”

In many traditional settings, thyroid testing stops at TSH alone. While TSH is an important marker, it doesn’t always show how well your thyroid hormones are actually being produced, converted, or used by your body.

• TSH – your brain’s signal to the thyroid
• Free T4 – the hormone your thyroid produces
• Free T3 – the active hormone your cells actually use
• TPO antibodies – which can indicate autoimmune thyroid conditions like Hashimoto’s
