Gratitude for Your Body: A Shift from Criticism to Appreciation | Thankful Thursday
When was the last time you thanked your body—not for how it looks, but for something it helps make possible? 💛
In this week’s Thankful Thursday, we’re shifting from criticism toward appreciation, compassion and respect.
Body gratitude does not require us to pretend that everything is perfect. Gratitude can coexist with pain, frustration, illness, disability and change.
If gratitude feels difficult today, begin with something gentler:
“I notice you.”
“I am listening.”
“I am learning to treat you with respect.”
What is one thing your body helps make possible that you appreciate today?
