Finding the balance in polarities has been my journey lately. As each layer comes to light and is healed, I feel more peace, more ease. Can you relate?

There are some moments that stand out as points of no return. I had no idea two years ago that this was an experience that would be one of them for me. I was in Sardinia, Italy. On a retreat. Part of a year spent doing things that were such a radical expression of self-love and so out of character for me that my own mother, when I told her about this trip said, "It sounded like you just said you were going to Italy" Since then, the contrast between who I once was and who I had allowed myself to become, with all of her authenticity, desires and truths has broken me. Many times. And yet...I am still being used. A broken vessel. As I learn that there is transformation in trauma, even old stuff I thought I had already worked through, as I work with the oils and the horses, as I allow myself to be vulnerable, to heal, to lead by example, even if its messy. I am being used to help others. We aren't here to be perfect. And as corny as it sounds, love is always the answer. It is where healing begins. And it starts with ourselves.
