Flu, COVID-19, and RSV Vaccine Information

Flu season is here! We encourage our patients to stay up to date with their recommended vaccinations.

Flu Vaccine:

• If you have an HMO insurance plan, please call our office at 909-790-6200 to schedule your flu vaccination.

• If you have another type of insurance, such as IEHP or a PPO plan, you may receive your flu vaccine at a local pharmacy. Please make sure the pharmacy faxes a copy of your vaccination record to our office at 909-790-6220 so we can update your medical records.

COVID-19 and RSV Vaccines:
Our office does not currently carry the COVID-19 or RSV vaccines. These vaccines are available through many local pharmacies, and you may contact your preferred pharmacy for availability and scheduling.

Dr. Bradshaw recommends staying up to date with the latest recommended COVID-19 vaccination. If you are unsure whether you are current with your COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your local pharmacy.

Healthy choices today!

Be advised Flu cases are rising there have been 4.6 million cases, 49,000 hospitalizations, and 1,900 deaths attributed to the FLU this season. Anyone who has not gotten there Flu shot yet is highly advised to get it as soon as possible and anyone traveling for the holidays or in large crowds it is strongly suggested you wear a N95 mask while doing so. ATTN: All IEHP (RYMG), United Healthcare Senior and Humana Insurance patients.

Just a reminder as of January 1, 2026 if you have not changed your insurance your referrals and any orders for labs, radiology etc. will no longer be valid as of midnight December 31, 2025. If you still wish to change your insurance to remain with Dr. Bradshaw please let us know our insurance advisor RJ will be in our office today to answer any questions and assist you at no cost to you. Please contact our office at 909-790-6200 so we can let him know what time to expect your arrival today.

Attention All Health Net/ Wellcare Insurance Patients

You may have received a letter stating you have a new physician as of January 1, 2026. Rest assured we do have a contract with Health Net effective January 1, 2026 and you will be able to keep us as your doctors office. You will need to call Health Net to get reassigned back to us. As soon as we have our provider ID we will notify to so you can call and make the change back.

All IEHP (RYMG), United Healthcare HMO, and Humana Insurance patients.

We will not have a contract with these insurances come January 1, 2026. If you have these insurances and wish to continue with Dr. Bradshaw you will need to switch your insurance. If you already have an insurance broker you can contact them, if you do not have one you may call David Nash 909-792-4410 or RJ Salas 951-561-6308 and they will help you at no cost.

INSURANCE UPDATE

As you may have heard Redlands Yucaipa Medical Group is getting a new management company as of January 1, 2026. Here is a breakdown of how this may affect you.

• Any United Health care members HMO will be reassigned as of January 1, 2026 to Optum Physician group and all authorizations not used will be cancelled and a new auth will need to be issued by your new provider.

• Any member that switched your insurance from United Healthcare (or any insurance) to any of the other insurances that we are contracted with will require a new authorization to be generated showing the new insurance information on your authorization. Do not worry these referral have already been medically reviewed and it is just an administrative issue of checking your benefits with the new insurance and they will not take as long to approve as the original authorization. Please let Dr. Bradshaw’s office know as soon as your new insurance is effective what specialist appointments you have upcoming and when so we may get those new authorizations prior to scheduled appointments so there is no delay.

• All authorizations outstanding as of January 1, 2026 will require new authorizations simply to update billing information for the specialists. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT your ability to see the specialists at your currently scheduled appointments you will simply receive a new authorization in the mail with the new management groups information on it. There is nothing you need to do for this.

Redlands Yucaipa Medical Group will continue to be contracted with all of our current specialist offices.

If you are still trying to change your insurance to continue with Dr. Bradshaw and Redlands Yucaipa Medical Group for your continuity of care please contact our office at 909-790-6200 as we have insurance brokers free to assist you in achieving this prior to January 1, 2026. The sooner they are able to assist you the smoother the transition will be for you.
