genuinely never wanted to bring something like this onto social media. We always try to handle situations privately and respectfully first.
Over the past few weeks, we sent several polite messages reminding these customers about their unpaid balance. Each time, we were promised that payment had been sent or would be sent soon.
Unfortunately, until today, we still have not received the £80 owed for the full sets we completed for them.
What makes this situation especially upsetting is seeing that there seems to be no issue spending money on holidays and trips to the Maldives, while at the same time avoiding payment for a service that took us hours of hard work, time, and effort.
As a small business, every appointment matters to us. Behind every nail set is not just products and designs, but also long working hours, patience, energy, rent, bills, and families depending on this income. We work honestly for our money, so being ignored after providing a service feels deeply disrespectful and unfair.
We are not posting this out of anger, but out of disappointment. Supporting small businesses should also mean respecting their work enough to pay for it.
