Do you plan your day the night before?

🔑 It’s a game-changer for staying on top of your goals—and actually making time for YOU.
Katie tells us that she makes time every night, to write down what went well and what’s coming up, like workouts, walks, and personal priorities.

It’s about visibility. Seeing your day laid out helps you stay accountable and reduces the stress of having to make last-minute decisions.
What could you make space for tonight?

Maybe just 10 mins to plan your tomorrow?

👀 Sleep on it and wake up with clarity.
Worth trying, right?

Katie offers more tips and advice on how to cope with the stresses and pressure we all have in our busy lives to avoid overwhelm and burnout.

For some people, the thought of travelling can trigger anxiety long before the journey begins, from worrying about transport and crowds to visiting new, unfamiliar places or being far from home.

Travel anxiety isn’t a sign that you should avoid holidays or that there is something wrong. It’s often the primitive mind trying to anticipate and prevent perceived risk.

Alongside appropriate medical support, solution-focused hypnotherapy may help by:
• Calming the body’s stress response
• Reducing anticipatory worry
• Building a sense of safety and confidence
• Supporting more helpful ways of responding to travel-related triggers

By focusing on strengths, small steps, and future-focused change, hypnotherapy can allow you to feel more at ease - not by forcing fear away, but by helping the mind and body feel safer and more in control during travel.

If you want to plan your next big trip for 2026 then visit our site and find a solution focused hypnotherapist who is ready to support you to create a calmer journey.

We know that this time of year can be difficult for some and can feel lonely.

Trees are a great symbol of connection reminding us we are never truly alone, we are connected wider than our immediate family, by community and simply in being human.

We need positive connections and we can find these in all kinds of places and situations, it can be in a smile of a stranger, an act of kindness or by connecting over similar experiences.
Even in tragic circumstances we can find strength by joining with others and sharing compassion and kindness.

There are so many wonderful moments of connection that exist in the world, even being witness to others moments of connection we can feel what it is that makes us human.

We can connect with nature and the wider world, knowing the trees network of roots runs deep underground and nurtures our very being.

We are more connected than we are isolated, perhaps you can spend some time being mindful of all the ways you are connected with others and the world and notice how that makes you feel.

We all have a stress bucket which is unique to us, the more stress we face the more our bucket fills. However the thoughts we have about that stress will also go into our bucket, slowing filling it. The fuller the bucket the more we pay attention to these negative thoughts and stressors, this is where we lose access to the rational and problem solving areas of the mind and the primitive and threat detecting areas become more active and engaged.

Our last tip for World Mental Health day is...

Tip 3: Take a break from the news
While it might feel useful to keep on top of global events and feel informed, we know the news is skewed to focus on the negative stories as this is what keeps us engaged. However, we know that this is only a small picture of what is really happening every day.

Decide how much news feels useful and when it starts to make you feel anxious or low, create some time off, perhaps only looking at the headlines once a day and turning off your notifications or removing it from your phone.

Taking time out doesn't mean you are not responsible and you won't be left behind, it will make you feel better and enjoy what is going on in your life today.
