Today, we successfully completed our Mobile Health Clinic outreach, bringing essential health screening and services closer to our market vendors and communities.

Fa’afetai tele lava, Savai‘i, for the warm welcome and wonderful support. Our team is now safely back in Upolu—tired, grateful and proud of what we achieved together. 🇼🇸💙

We also acknowledge the partnership of SLC, Accident Compensation Corporation - Samoa and Ministry of Fisheries.

Today marked our final health screening at Maketi Fugalei—and the completion of our Upolu clinics. 💚

One vendor shared that they had never known their blood sugar was dangerously high until they chose to be screened today! Their testimony reminds us that early detection can change and even save lives.

Next stop: Salelologa Market, in the Big Island of Savai‘i! 🚐🩺

Our market vendors are at the heart of Samoa’s communities — working every day to provide fresh local food and support their families.

Through the Markets for Change (M4C) Programme, we’re bringing FREE health screenings and health support directly to our market vendors at Savalalo, Fugalei and Salelologa. 🩺🥬

This is about more than a health check. It’s about prevention, early detection, healthier choices, and taking care of the people who take care of our markets.

We are proud to announce that Spectrum+ Consultancy, in partnership with Naseri & Associates Family Clinic, has been awarded the UNDP Markets for Change (M4C) Mobile Health Clinic Services project.

This initiative marks an exciting milestone as our team works alongside UNDP in Samoa, Cook Islands, Tokelau & Niue and key stakeholders to bring essential health services directly to market vendors across Samoa. Through the Mobile Health Clinic, we aim to improve access to quality healthcare by providing preventive health services, screenings, health education, referrals, and health promotion activities within our market communities.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to UNDP Samoa for their confidence in our team. We are honoured to contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of our communities through this important initiative.

Over the coming days and weeks, we will be sharing more information about the project, including clinic schedules, locations, available services, and how market vendors can participate.
