This weeks Wellness Wednesday is all about perimenopause… cause why are our bodies revolting against us suddenly?!?!?! 😭

I was diagnosed with perimenopause at age 36 the brain fog, waking at all hours of the night with energy unable to fall back asleep, the weight that wouldn’t fall off and if that wasn’t bad enough my PMS symptoms were through the roof!

If you’re coming up on, just got diagnosed, or are headed into menopause with no end in sight on crazy symptoms this is one you won’t wanna miss cause I’m spilling all the tea on how I have ZERO perimenopause symptoms at age 42 and a completely normal cycle! 🤗

This Wellness Wednesday we’re talking perimenopause! When I got the diagnosis I had so many symptoms brain fog, increased pain, dry eyes, night sweats, headaches.

What I learned after that is perimenopause is not the problem… it’s a transition.

So many women move through this season already depleted, inflamed, overloaded, and under-supported, and that can make the symptoms feel so much louder… but they don’t have to stay loud!

This week on Wellness Wednesday, we’re talking about what’s really changing in the body, why toxicity, stress, and overall terrain matter so much, and what you can do to make this transition easier!

Day 7 of the fearless challenge asks who is not the best fit to work with me.

Honestly, people looking for a quick fix or one magical solution usually struggle the most with my approach because healing definitely requires TIME, lifestyle changes, nervous system support, consistency, and a willingness to participate in the process.

We didn’t get sick overnight and unfortunately we won’t be healing overnight and if your using the genetics excuse I have amazing news… if ya weren’t born with it and you’re ready to take radical responsibility for what is going on on and around your body it’s more than likely we can reverse it… my favorite saying is “the work, works”.

I’m here to work with those that are ready to change the story allopathic medicine told them to believe 🤗

The answer is usually the people who stay open, communicate honestly, and allow themselves to be supported through the process instead of expecting healing to look perfect all the time. The people who see the biggest shifts are willing to stay curious, make adjustments, and keep moving forward one step at a time.

Tonights Wellness Wednesday is all about poopin!

Something that shocked me was to learn that if we are not having bowel movements between 2-3x/day then it is considered constipation.

Tonight I’ll go over the reasons we get constipated, why daily bowel movements are important and of course how to get those bowels moving daily!

Day 5 of the fearless challenge asks what do I think holds people back from hiring me.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s pricing nearly as often as people think it is. I think it’s the fear of change, the discomfort of stepping away from familiar coping mechanisms, and the realization that healing asks us to participate in our own healing journey.

I understand those fears deeply because I’ve had to walk through them myself. The beautiful thing is our nervous systems can learn new patterns, and eventually the things that once felt uncomfortable start becoming the very things that bring us peace, comfort, and stability.

Day 4 of the fearless challenge: what used to scare you?

Five years ago the thought of fully walking away from a career I had built for 22 years would have terrified me.

Hair was stability. It was predictable income, long term relationships, routine, and honestly a huge part of my identity.

I spent a long time with one foot in what felt safe and one foot in what felt aligned.

At some point I realized I would never fully build the life, business, and community I dreamed about if all my energy kept getting split between the two.

The beautiful thing about growth is that eventually the things that once scared you start feeling necessary.

Current me knows that when we fully trust ourselves and put our energy into what’s truly aligned, life has a way of meeting us there.

What used to scare you that no longer does?

Day 3 of the fearless challenge: what is my superpower?

I think my superpower is helping people see their body differently.

Let’s face it we have been taught to fear symptoms, fight symptoms, or silence symptoms, when in reality those symptoms are often the body doing everything it can to keep us alive with the resources it currently has available.

The body is always adapting, it always compensating and always trying to protect us.

Once I started understanding that, everything changed for me and once clients understand that I watch it change for them as well!

Instead of asking “how do I get rid of this symptom?” I started asking “what is my body trying to communicate?”

That question completely shifted the way I approached healing, and now it’s something I get to help other people understand too.

When we begin properly supporting the body, symptoms often begin to soften because the body no longer has to struggle so hard to get our attention.

Watching someone reconnect with their body and come back into alignment is honestly one of the most magical things to witness. 🙌
