Anyone else feeling the Christmas stress these days?🙋🏻‍♀️

The never ending shopping lists, menu planning, Christmas events, and just making sure you do ALL the things for your kids can really take the cheer out of this time of year.

I would love to hear from the moms who are probably running a to do list in their heads 24/7 right now. What do you want for Christmas this year?

Here are a couple things I’m asking for…

🌲 Spa Day
🌲Date Night
🌲 Sleep in on a Saturday
🌲 Uninterrupted time to organize the house and prep for baby

Doesn’t seem like a lot to ask for, right?! We give so much to everyone all year round that it’s time we ask for something for ourselves.

Hey Mama, I’m talking to you 👋🏻
You know, the person who reheated their coffee 5x this morning. The person who made sure everyone was fed, dressed, given extra hugs, and out the door on time. The person who barely has time to p*e alone, let alone think about self-care. 🤪

Yesterday was National Stress Awareness Day and I’m here to remind you that self-care is not selfish. The more we give to ourselves, the more we can give to others.

Self-care can be :
⚪️ A workout
⚪️ Lunch with a friend
⚪️ A massage
⚪️ Meditation
⚪️Whatever you need it to be

To that tired and stressed mama, I see you. Take time for yourself each day and make it a non-negotiable appointment with yourself💜

It’s been awhile, but big things have been happening!

Aside from being pregnant with baby #2 (💙), I’m excited to announce that I’m officially a Certified Health and Life Coach!

This program has been life-changing and I’m excited to use the tools I’ve learned with my future clients.

Being pregnant (and extremely sick) while having a toddler, working full time, and taking classes has been no joke; but I’m excited to continue navigating through motherhood with all of you.

I’m also two months into Coach Mastery, a year long graduate level coaching program, which will allow me to help my clients even more and work with them on a deeper level. My goal is to work with moms and help them regain their sense of self again along with better managing the never ending to-do list.

Thanks for letting me give you a little life update. Stay tuned for more content coming soon. 💫

It’s been awhile, but I’m back! I’ve been taking the time to really soak in the summer and time with my daughter. We enjoyed two vacations and plenty of other outdoor activities.

Being present and focusing on the here and now has always been a struggle for me. I tend to focus on the to do list and what needs to be accomplished while juggling work, school, and family life.

Taking time to be present and really enjoy the little things has helped me be happier, calmer, more relaxed, and appreciative.

I’m a little over a month away from my coaching certification and I’m excited to help others focus on their health, improve their relationships, and be more present.

Anyone else want to feel more energized but tend to put self-care at the bottom of the priority list?🙋🏻‍♀️

Life’s daily pressures have us believe that everything else in life is more important than our self-care.If you burn yourself out giving to everyone else, you’ll begin to resent those close to you. When your prioritize self-care, you have more to give and others get a better version of you.

Asking for help never came easy for me, especially postpartum. Self-care was a thing of the past for me. That mom mentality where “I’m no longer important, my baby’s needs are the only ones that matter” came in strong and led to a downward spiral of resentment, depression, anxiety, and emotional eating. It wasn’t until Isla turned 1, that I realized I needed to start doing things for myself in order to be a healthier and happier mom. Most importantly, I needed to ask for help and support from those around me in order to achieve that.

Here are four things I do right now for self-care that make me a better mom, wife, and person all around:

⚪️Exercise (Peloton ju**ie here)

⚪️HCI Daily Habit Change Journal
⚪️Personal Growth Podcasts
