We have been busy doing a little diy lego make over of the boys room AGAIN! Our boys share the smallest room in the house so organisation is key and this little one would have what I called stations everywhere around the house, little piles of toys or lego so the lego table needed up grading!!
Cue trip to Bunnings. We already had the shelves so some inserts and a piece of shelving for the top and some draws to sort his lego by colour and we are set!!! Oh and a cute little second hand (as always) stool to go with.
It’s his new fav place to be.

DIY FLEA AND TICK SPRAY 👌

Hey all you mamas out there with fur babies! This one’s for you! We know how much you love your four legged friend, but unfortunately, fleas and ticks love them just as much. I mean, sure… maybe they don’t buy them custom fit sweaters at Christmas time, but they love them nonetheless 🙆‍♀️💁‍♀️

I want to share a DIY flea and tick spray that will support you and your fur babies! Yep, that’s right! It’s safe for you AND Fido! Remember: I highly suggest that you always do your research before applying oils to pets. All animals are different sizes and weight, so adjust accordingly. Check out this post here for more info on oils + pets:

Note: These ratios are for medium sized dogs that are about 10-15kg

DIY Flea and Tick Spray

• In a 4 oz glass spray bottle, add:

• 5-10 drops Lemongrass essential oil

• 5-10 drops Eucalyptus essential oil

• Optional: 3-5 drops Purification essential oil

• A sq**rt of witch hazel

• Top off with distilled water

For dogs: Shake and spray a couple times along the back. Avoid eyes.

For humans: Shake and spray on shoes, socks and pant cuffs.

Now you can enjoy all the back road hikes, trail walks, and outdoor adventures your heart desires without being worried about those pesky pests!

Another awesome switch and ditch is my leave in conditioner. With the summer months being spent in the sun and the surf with my beach bum tin lids my hair has been super dry!!

Enter the most amazing and easy product that has turned my hair around.

Grab a spray bottle add a little copaiba and vanilla conditioner add a few fav oils , I have used lavender and cedar wood as they are great for building strength in your hair top with water and that’s it!! Spritz hair if it feels dry or after washing you can spray some in and style as usual!!! It is that simple!!

Here is a little post for you to save for future, it’s a mine field trying to navigate your way around labels on products so here’s the dirty dozen to avoid!!!

One of the big reasons why I have started switching and ditching my products to young living is that I know there products don’t contain these nasties so I’m not having to read labels all the time, so I know my family is safe when using them.

In the mean time if you are wanting to know more or start making the changes in your home then this is great list to save for when you are purchasing products.

The dirty dozen!! I great list of chemicals to AVOID when buying your beauty and house hold products. It’s a mine field trying to work through all the chemicals that are in our products so this is a helpful list to avoid.

One of the big reasons why I have chosen to use young living product is that I know they are free of all these nasties and safe for my family!! Takes all the guess work out and having to read labels.

One of the best ways to introduce your self to oils is by making roller bottles. They are a handy tool to be able to grab quickly and a super easy way to know which oil to use and for what!!!

How quickly do oils enter the body??

22 seconds and molecules can be found in the brain 🤯

2 minutes they can be found in the blood stream!!! 😱

20 minuets and they can affect every cell in the body 😮

Rollers have been a life saver for me and the fam bam and an awesome way to educate myself along the way!!
