🙋🏼♀️Something yoga taught me to do more of…
TRUST 💕
Maybe it’s the little voice inside your head that supports you, or a gut feeling. Maybe it’s a can-do attitude, or a willingness to try new things. Trust can empower us… or a lack of it can limit us. And like many, I’ve felt the limitations a lot too 😬
Here’s a little story: This pose is Chakrasana, wheel pose. I used to struggle with this pose so much, never mind one-legged. I did always manage to push off the ground, but the fear to get there was huge and I constantly doubted my strength. Like, how was my body meant to do that and stay there?! 🤯
At some point, I just had to trust. Without overthinking, just set yourself up right, trust yourself and your body - and just do it💪🏼
And then I built my confidence, bit by bit, and then I got stronger. Now I’m here, and building my own self-trust is an ongoing journey (personally and professionally), but the lessons that arise along the way are invaluable. And guess what? Some of the BEST things have happened when I’ve listened to that little voice or feeling and just gone for it 💖
