Did you know that EMFs can trigger autoimmune and chronic diseases?

Since I have two autoimmune diseases, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and interstitial cystitis (IC), I know I’m more susceptible to the harmful effects of EMF radiation. That’s why I arm myself with DefenderShield EMF shielding products. 💪🏼

Did you spend a lot of time in the sun, salt or chlorine this summer? I know I did! As we head into a new season, it’s the perfect time to cleanse and exfoliate your skin. ☺️☀️

My favorite way to exfoliate is dry brushing. Dry brushing helps eliminate dead skin cells while offering many benefits, such as promoting detox, increasing blood circulation, and more. I've been using ’s dry brush + coconut oil set for about a year now and have seen huge benefits to my skin and overall health. Their organic, fair-trade coconut oil is packed with anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial goodness and helps keep my skin super moisturized!

To dry brush, apply some coconut oil to your skin, then start brushing your body upward, starting from the bottom up (start with your feet, then brush upwards toward your heart using light pressure).

Spring has officially sprung! 🐣 You know what that means – spring cleaning!

I must confess, I’m not huge into cleaning most of the year 🙈 but I get really excited about spring cleaning. I’ve been going full swing into cleaning and organizing my home!

Unfortunately, most common cleaning products like wipes, bleaches, sprays, and liquids contain tons of harmful chemicals that are toxic to humans and horrible for the environment.

Looking to switch to nontoxic and eco-friendly spring cleaning? Start small!

A simple switch is ditching your dryer sheets for dryer balls. Dryer sheets and fabric softeners are at the top of the list for the most toxic cleaning products in our homes, containing even more chemicals than bathroom and kitchen cleaners.

Some of these chemicals are known carcinogens and endocrine disruptors that can lead to major health issues. Pretty scary! 🙅🏼‍♀️

Instead of dryer sheets, I recommend all-natural wool dryer balls. My favorite brand is . Dryer balls naturally soften and de-wrinkle your clothes without the added toxins. They’ll also speed up the drying process, saving time and money! Use 3-4 balls at once for the best results.

Worried you’ll miss the fresh scent? Just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil before throwing them in.

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💐

I love love — and whether I have a special someone in my life or not, Valentine’s Day is always one of my favorite holidays. 💞

Today is a good reminder that in order to flourish in your relationships, you must first have a strong relationship with the most important person in your life: YOU!

Here are a few ways that you can cultivate self love today and throughout the year:

🤍 Practice mindfulness (meditate, journal, show gratitude, etc.)
🤍 Treat yourself to a spa day or massage
🤍 Start a new hobby or project
🤍 Buy yourself fresh flowers
🤍 Set boundaries and start saying “no” to things that no longer serve you
🤍 Go for a walk or get outside in nature
🤍 Say kind words to yourself and others

Self love is not selfish!

💞💞 Love is in the air! 💞💞and these gf rose petals cupcakes are a perfect Valentine’s treat!🧁

🤍 For the cupcakes 🤍

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Lightly grease muffin pan or use paper liners
3. With an electric mixer, combine the following ingredients:
•½ c coconut oil
•½ c raw sugar
•2 eggs
•1 ¼ c all-purpose gf flour
•Pinch of sea salt
•1 ¾ tsp baking powder
•1 tsp organic vanilla extract
•½ c milk or dairy-free milk of choice
4. Divide evenly into liners and bake for 15-20 mins or until golden brown

🤍 For the icing 🤍

1. Stir together 1 c monk fruit sweetener with ½ c milk of choice and 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
2. Add in beet powder for coloring (I love for natural food colors)
3. Once cupcakes are cool, spread on the icing
4. Top with rose petals 🌹

Do you have a clear picture of what you want to accomplish this year?

Visualization is an important part of manifesting our goals and desires, and creating a vision board is a fun and creative way to get there. 🥰

While I've journaled quite a bit about my goals for the new year, inspired me to make a virtual vision board!

I used , but there are several free apps to choose from, or you can make a good ole' fashioned vision board on poster board.

Pro tip: save your vision board as your phone background or print it out to keep yourself excited about your goals all day long. 🤍

Are you finding yourself in a Christmas Cookie (time) Crunch?! 🍪

The holidays can be a crazy time of year, and sometimes even the things we love to do (like baking holiday cookies) can be hard to squeeze into our busy schedules.

If you're in the same boat, these Peppermint Fudge cookies are PERFECT for you! All you need is a package of Fudgy Brownie cookies (these are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and delicious) and organic candy canes (free of all of the fake sugars and dyes!).

Crush up your candy canes and press them into the cookie dough before baking, then sprinkle on more at the end.
