I realized today that the last time I posted on here was last April 😅

Instead of promoting my business I’ve been going on long walks, visiting fairy trails, sipping coffee, moving homes, selling a home, still making product, learning who I am again as a mom, you know- all the usual things when you’ve got a 1 yr old in tow.

In case you’re wondering, the website is still active! And it could still use a face lift, but we’ll get there one day 😉

Some snippets of life lately!

In between walks around the neighborhood, trips to the nursery to snag fall plants and finishing audiobooks, I’ve been having fun playing around with rose petal hydrosol.

I’m just adoring this season that always feels a bit too short 🍂

Today was my first market since our babe was born and it was the most perfect day!

My mom joined me and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. I also couldn’t have done it without her. Thank you for spending the day with us and helping it all go smoothly ❤️

So grateful to live near enough to family to have their love and support at my fingertips. It’s truly the biggest blessing

I asked what came to mind when you thought of Silo Skincare in my stories and this is reply brought me a new perspective.

I’ll be honest and say that since no longer having goats Silo Skincare just hasn’t felt the same to me. It feels like I’m living a double life of who I want to be vs my reality at the moment. 3 years ago I was milking goats on a small farm, watching my chickens peck the ground and living the closest to my dream life I’ve ever been.

These days my newborn and I are living back in our small home together while my husband works on the road most days. We love the flexibility of me being a stay home mom and being able to follow him when we can. It’s just not the ideal time to own animals that tie us back home.

I’ve been thinking about rebranding and when I asked what comes to mind when you think of Silo Skincare you shared that silos stand against the elements.

It brought me back to the core of what Silo Skincare stands for- helping women easily nourish their skin against the elements of everyday life. Especially in this new season of motherhood when we have places to be, babies to rock, and coffee to sip out in the morning sun.

Motherhood is complicated enough, but choosing to care for your skin’s largest organ shouldn’t be.

Our sweet little woman made her arrival 02/29 💕 We’re home and settling in together as a family! We’re so thankful for our community that has held us as we transition into this new life.

Thank you to everyone who has wished us well, sent coffee, delivered flowers, brought meals, and everything in between. We’re truly blessed with a solid community and we’re absolutely smitten with our girl 🥰
