Since ancient times, the sound 'Aum' has been acknowledged as the source sound of creation. It is stated in the Shastras and has origins in many religions. For example, Amen (pronounced "āamen"), Amin, etc., all refer to the same thing. It is a source of everything even if it has no meaning. When a person chants a mantra, their entire being begins to resonate with that sound, and eventually, in the final level of mantra practise, it unites with the being. This new dimension of being is called by various names, including moksha, enlightenment, nirvana, kavalya, etc. Everything stops and everything opens up.
Our objective in these seven days of practise is to recognise the root sound "Aum" and to create a pathway for the source to enter. This particular mantra chanting is unique and made to allow this sound to permeate your entire existence, not just your physical body. It should permeate every cell in your being.
Benefits vary depending on your personal life path, however the majority of people report having these experiences.
-a wave of joy that returns intermittently throughout the day
- a day without stress
- lesser extreme thoughts
- A shift in perspective on life
