What a roller coaster 24 hours.
Got down to Casez game yesterday, 10 mins in and he got a knee to his nose in a tackle 🥴🥴🥴
He got off the field nose pouring with blood and a swelled crooked nose 👃👃
Anyway long story short we spent 6 hours in A&E in Palmy waiting to be seen.
He got everything checked out but his nose was to swollen to see if his nose was fractured. No pain so doctor thinks its just a fracture & it will come right 🙏🙏
By the time we walked out it was cold & dark so we just headed to a nearby hotel for the night.
Stink circumstances but we managed to spend some real quality time talking about school & life and of course watching the rugby 🏉
Case is doing some really awesome positive mahi at school.
Fresh off a 2 day course at Pā Maria the Hoeben Project learning how to help and run Mass & Chapel services.
Also playing rugby sometimes twice a week. Traditional rugby games for the 1st XV & U16 rugby in the local round on Saturdays. Hes started 8 times for the 1st XV this year and need to have started for the 1st XV 16 times to get capped.
Case is well on his way 8/16 so far 🙌🙌
I was also told yesterday by one of his coaches he is playing some awesome defensive rugby tackling machine & should be playing rep rugby 🙏🙏🤞🤞
I also found out on Friday night he passed his 10 English credits that he needed to pass level 1 & 2 NCEA and is heading towards level 3 and he already has a hep of level 3 & 4 credits and Case just carries on with life blazay as 🤣🤣
When I took him back to school today he was like "oh yeah mum me & my mate are gonna enter in the Rural Games" something about fencing, handpieces all the stuff he gets right into Im like "ok Case" 🤣🤣 like whatelse you got up your sleeve kid 🤣🤣
When I tell him take every opportunity he can he is literally doing that and more.
Proud of you my boy 🫡🫡 so worth all the blood, sweat & tears 🙏🙏
