I had to do a make-up session for a student this morning (a sign of growth in my practice) so I did my workout at RIFAC, meditation and yoga at home. I was a little worried about getting the intensity I want right now, so I pulled out the old play book snd hit a 10min warm up run before my lift. I watch my heart rate to measure intensity. It bounced my heart rate from about 120bpm (75% of my theoretical max) to almost 140bpm (88%) for my resistance training. 152bpm on the run is 95%. What's it mean? I did my entire workout at 90% intensity fot 90minutes. That's how we get that fuel burning and the energy flowing. Rocking!
