Jumping is a big gross motor milestone that builds over time—starting with small movement patterns and growing into stronger, more coordinated skills.

At Coral Care, support is all about making progress feel natural and playful right in your child’s everyday environment. Sessions are designed around real routines, so skills carry over into daily life.

Shown here by Mitchell, one of Coral Care’s pediatric physical therapists in Massachusetts, these moments focus on simple, meaningful ways to support development at home.

The transition into preschool or kindergarten brings a lot of new: new routines, new expectations, new social dynamics, new fine motor demands. For some kids, it clicks. For others, the gap between "almost ready" and "ready" is exactly where occupational, physical, and speech therapy can help.

Coral Care brings licensed pediatric therapists to your doorstep, on your schedule, covered by insurance. No schlepping to appointments. No waiting rooms. Just real progress in the place your child already feels safe.

If your child is starting school this fall and you're noticing the gaps, now is the time.

To the mom who kept a running list of things that felt "a little off."

Who asked at every well visit. Who Googled at midnight. Who trusted her gut before anyone else did.

You noticed first. We're here to help from there.

Happy Mother's Day. 🐚

What happens to a child’s brain when you add more movement-based play? 👇

When kids have more opportunities to move, climb, crawl, and explore, their brain is building and strengthening connections that support coordination, balance, and spatial awareness.

Movement also supports how different systems work together—like motor planning, bilateral coordination, and sensory processing—skills we target in OT, PT, and even during play-based SLP sessions.

In-home sessions make this even more meaningful, because we’re working on these skills right in the environments where kids learn and play every day.
It’s not about one specific activity—it’s about consistent, supported opportunities to move, explore, and interact with their world.

Looking for support? Coral Care connects families with licensed OTs, PTs, and SLPs for personalized, play-based sessions right in your home—making therapy practical, relevant, and built into your child’s daily routine.

Grateful to be part of the energy at Abilities Expo 🩷

We loved being surrounded by such an incredible community—families, providers, and advocates all showing up for one another.

Hearing your stories and experiences is what continues to shape how we build and support at Coral Care.

Our goal is to make care more accessible and to better support the providers and families who make it all happen.

And of course, bringing a little fun to it (sunblock + slime ☀️🫧).

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and shared a moment with us.

Watching your baby take those first steps is such an exciting milestone 👣

A few simple strategies can make a big difference—building strength, supporting balance, and boosting confidence along the way. From cruising along furniture to going barefoot and taking it one step at a time, it’s all about creating a safe, supportive environment for learning.

Meet Julie, one of our pediatric PTs at Coral Care in New Hampshire, who helps little ones build the strength and confidence they need to reach milestones like walking.
If your child needs extra support, Coral Care offers personalized in-home pediatric PT that helps make walking feel easier (and more fun!) 🏡

2 Guardian Bikes. 30,000 of you. One very good spring.

We're almost at 30K followers, and we wanted to mark it with something that actually matters to the families here. So we're giving away two Guardian Bikes — the ones our OTs and PTs actually point parents toward when it's time to learn to ride.

Why Guardian? They're lightweight (which matters way more than most parents realize), they use hand brakes that are easier for kids still building coordination, and they come in sizes that fit a child right now — not a size you're hoping they'll grow into. Fit is quietly one of the biggest reasons kids struggle to learn.

And while we're here — a small PSA from our clinical team. If your kid is learning to ride this spring, skip the training wheels. Start on grass. Take the pedals off and let them scoot first. Balance comes before pedaling, every time.

How to enter:
01 · Follow
02 · Tag 2 parent friends in the comments
03 · Share to your story for a bonus entry

*For an additional bonus entry, tap the link in the DM you're sent after entering! We'll also message you our OT-approved guide to teaching kids to ride a bike. It's the same approach our therapists use with families in home sessions. 🚲

Winners announced May 8. Each winner picks the size that fits their kid, and we'll ship the bike straight to your door.

Two families, two bikes, one very good spring ahead.

Open to US families only. Must be 18+ to enter. Not sponsored by or affiliated with Guardian Bikes or Instagram.
