Happy Anniversary To Me, Myself and I

Fifteen years ago today, I got married. Two and a half years ago, my marriage ended.

This is the third Anniversary on my own.

At first, this day was sad for me.

Those of you who know me personally, know what I have endured.

But...

I loved being a bride
I loved my wedding
I loved my dress
I loved the sacrifice my parents made to make it all possible.

I think I made a beautiful bride. I will cherish these memories forever.

The day I married, is the day I physically left my parents, my siblings and my childhood home. This is a huge rite of passage for a woman in an Italian family, especially as the first born.

I may no longer be someone’s wife, but today is still a day I HAPPILY celebrate.

First and foremost I celebrate my beautiful, amazing children. I am so proud of them. They have given me the strength to fight and take my power back.

I celebrate all of the things I have overcome and survived...

I celebrate the pain... I am a new woman...

I celebrate my strength, my power, my “badassery”...

I celebrate my health, my body, my sexuality...

I celebrate my body’s ability to heal, physically, spiritually, mentally...

I celebrate my God, my Faith and my Spirituality...

I celebrate my family and friends who have supported me in the most difficult time of my life...

I celebrate my ability to do it on my own...

I celebrate my ability to learn and try new things...

I celebrate my ability to help and coach other women who have suffered...

I celebrate the ability to be vulnerable and share my story...

I celebrate the passion I have for my career and my ability to earn an income to support myself and my children...

I celebrate the new home I have created for my children...

I celebrate my peace and my freedom...

I celebrate that I am ALIVE!!!

I celebrate My Beautiful Muck 🐛 I celebratebrate ALL that comes with it!

It’s time to reprogram your brain 🧠

Let go of how you used to think of yourself with the Ho’oponopono Mantra...

Look at yourself in the mirror and say...
I love you

Please forgive me
Thank you

Then give yourself 3 compliments...

Do this everyday, several times a day!

Self Love is difficult... and that’s ok! 💜

But it will get easier, the more you practice.

For me... it’s starts everyday by pressing play.

It reminds me how BLESSED I am to be me! ✝️

I gave myself some much needed rest this morning due to late campfires and card games (which ended with a skunk🦨🤦🏻‍♀️) and a really bad mattress. Then, I hit it hard this afternoon. I upped my weights too. I’m still so sore from leg day and I hope this recovery drink kicks in or else I will be a mess tomorrow 🧟‍♀️

It feels good to be so committed to myself.

It doesn’t feel like “I have to work out”

It feels like “I get to workout”
