Remember to stop and smell the roses 🌹
(honestly, these roses actually smelled so good!)

the past 4 weeks have really flown by. seriously, is it just me? or does ta**us season fly by so quickly for everyone else too? 😱♉️
every single weekend had something going on, and I’ve been really immersed in the present moment.
however, this upcoming weekend has nothing really planned. whether something comes up or not, I know that the theme of the weekend will be taking time to slow TF down and to honor my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies’ needs.
I believe that in this modern world, our attention is our most valuable currency:
🪙spending time with loved ones
🪙working 9-5 or owning a business
🪙holding side jobs and/or hobbies
🪙making plans and attending events
🪙tending to text messages and phone calls (on different platforms)
🪙listening to podcasts and audiobooks🪙scrolling on social media
🪙driving, running, scrambling from one thing to the next (talk about context switching 🥵)
…all of the above and more requires your ATTENTION. and that is a lot of your physical, mental, and emotional energy on a daily basis. At some the point, it can become overwhelming.
I also believe that if you’re pouring your attention into people, spaces, and places that aren’t serving you in return, that’ll ultimately lead to burnout.
When burnout happens, it’s important to slow down, take time for yourself, and turn your attention inward:
🔆 what is your body asking of you?
🔆 have you taken time to take a moment to breathe?
🔆 what are you experiencing mentally and emotionally?
🔆 are there any subtle messages your body, mind, emotions, and breath hold for you?
🔆 what is one thing that you can do that will serve your inner self? alternatively, what is one thing that you can let go of that will serve you for the highest good?
feel free to drop a heart if this resonates with you 💛 whatever your personal takeaway I hope this message inspires you, with love, to
