I admit I LOVE being in the Northeast as Fall rolls in. But I also miss my Texas friends. 💛

A family event brings me to Dallas in October and I'm taking the opportunity to offer some experiences to connect in-person with my Texas community and clients.

Happy New Year, Friends!

We have made our move to Philadelphia and we've begun our new chapter and adventures! It was sad to say goodbye to all our Dallas friends and clients but we know change and evolution is part of this human experience. We hope you've embraced this new year as an opportunity to feel inspired, curious, and excited about what opportunities for change and growth you'll have this year.

Although we aren't in Dallas to offer hands-on sound sessions right now, we want you to know we are still happy to be part of your health and wellness journey. Ben has long been a mindfulness and meditation facilitator and he has put together a 10-day self guided mindfulness challenge with FREE enrollment for the month of January!

Harmonic Hands Goes East...

Life has invited us into a new chapter in a new location and we have accepted the call to keep growing and spreading our intention of harmonic healing around the world. In January, we are moving to Philadelphia!

Over the past few years we have felt honored to share our passion for sound, energy, mindfulness, and breath with our Dallas-area clients. It is difficult to say goodbye to so many dear connections, and we are eternally grateful for the opportunity we've had to support you.

We will certainly be back in the Dallas area for special events where we can offer sound sessions in the future, but between now and the end of the year is your chance to book sessions before we head East!

The Many Sides of Wellness

In this newsletter we'll share two tools for wellness that may seem very opposite at first. On the one hand, we're fascinated by the research about the impact of hearing birds and other nature sounds has on our psychological and physiological wellness.

On the other hand, we're sharing some of the benefits of ice baths--including their remarkable ability to reduce inflammation and improve mood. Plunging into an ice bath seems like a far cry from the soothing sounds of birds!

But the truth is, they support different ends of our nervous system. When it comes to plants, studies have shown that exposure to certain sound frequencies can enhance growth, improve nutrient absorption, and even stimulate flowering. Just as music can uplift our spirits, specific sounds can create a harmonious environment for plant growth and development. When our pug Romeo (pictured above) was having hip issues and limping all over the house, we gave him a series of treatments, which he found as a nice excuse for an extra nap! After a few treatments, his limp went away. We also play a specific series of nature sounds every morning upon waking as we (and our dogs) begin the day.

In Buddhist cosmology, it is taught that all living beings have at one time been our mother. This is a wisdom, that if we take it into our deep self, unlocks a pathway to develop deep compassion and gratitude toward all sentient beings.

But right now, that may feel like a big ask! And that's OK. First, let's seek a heart center that is balanced, open, and ready to give. What are the signs of an open heart center? ***A balanced heart chakra is shown by feelings of love, joy, gratitude and compassion. Trust is easily gained and accepted, while forgiveness easily flows.
