At Seacrest Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, better breathing begins with thoughtful collaboration.

Our team recently gathered for our Quarterly Pulmonary IDT Meeting, bringing together clinical leadership, admissions, liaison support, regional partners, and pulmonologist Dr. Allen Silvey to strengthen care planning for patients with respiratory needs.

Through Pulmonary Rehab, Seacrest’s multidisciplinary team supports patients with evidence-based pulmonary care designed to help them breathe easier, build strength, and live more fully.

We recognize The Longest Day, a movement dedicated to outshining the darkness of Alzheimer's disease. 💜

The Longest Day symbolizes the strength, resilience, and endurance of those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, as well as the families and caregivers who support them every day. While the journey can be challenging, it is also filled with moments of compassion, connection, and hope.

At Seacrest, we are especially grateful for our incredible team members who provide exceptional care, comfort, and support to our residents. Their dedication, patience, and kindness make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve each day.

At Seacrest, we celebrated our amazing CNA staff with a special luncheon, gift raffle, and an awesome gift as a token of our appreciation for all they do. These celebrations are just a small way to thank our caregivers for the compassion, dedication, and support they provide to our residents each day.

Our CNAs are the heart of resident care, providing comfort, support, and compassion when it matters most. We are proud to recognize the incredible difference they make in the lives of our residents and families.

This week we invite you to meet Alex Sherman, Infection Preventionist, an integral part of our incredible team!

With 14 years of experience and a passion for helping others, Alex showcases our core values throughout everything he helps our residents achieve.

Alex's journey at Seacrest is a true example of growth, dedication, and heart. Since joining the team in 2012, he has served in multiple roles across the center, including Dietary, Activities, CNA, and Nursing. His diverse experience throughout the organization gives him a unique perspective that strengthens his work as an Infection Preventionist today.

Inspired by his grandfather to pursue a career in healthcare, Alex has built his career around compassion, commitment, and exceptional resident care.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys woodworking and riding motorcycles.
