Your donation =
This young girl had gotten back to boarding school. Her boarding school is King George Center for the handicap and deaf. She had no idea how her life was about to take a drastic change. She lost her mama. Some of you know that pain. With all that going, she received a gift from you guys who donated sanitary products. Imagine what a relief for her. You think your donations are small. This here darling lil’ one won’t be worrying about sanitary pads for a while.
Help us keep closing the gap!!!
Once again thank you so very much♥️

~Period is a documentary on Netflix, directed by Rayka Zehtabchi.
~It was pointed to me by a person who appreciates what we do.
The information on it is valuable for everyone. This helps to close the gaps within societies shaped by culture and religion.

Ladies and gentlemen meet Miriam Mugabe Garikayi “I am a registered Counselor and Educational Psychologist based in Zimbabwe. I am proud co-partner of Women Health Trust(WHT)....
My heart is with women and girls. I believe that they can lead a healthier and better balanced life if only their psychological, emotional and social well-being are in order. As females we need to rise against imbalances placed on us and realizing our worth. In realizing our strength and worth it’s easier to be able to positively identify our abilities and coping skills. Thus peace within and the world can be ascertainable. Peace ascertained; a woman can be in power to shun social exclusion and thereby boost their self esteem, confidence and selfactualization. .
As a Trust our main focus is mental wellness. WHT endeavors to achieve this through promotional programmes targeting mental health for women and girls by way of workshops, seminars or/and one on one sessions....
***offers of psychosocial support and counseling services...
***identifying needs such as periodpoverty helping women and girls restore health and dignity in their lives. .
Re-awakening females’ true being is empowering a nation. WHT hopes to help females realize their full potential to succeed without hindrance and be counted/considered....
***to see them stand on their own feet, believe in themselves and see them change the world is pure joy for me!”

This PeriodPoverty awareness week...we choose to count our blessings.
We extend our gratitude to all who have donated to us, through packages and via money transfers. A huge thanks to you, something big looks small due to your kindness.
The thought behind our periodpoverty fight is every month one spends on sanitary products please buy one extra and send it to the Women Health Trust to help a girl child who might otherwise miss school... a woman who might get some kind of abuse for spending money on sanitary products.

Changing lives is good for you too! It might seem a small gesture but every thank you from the receivers is them putting your name out to the universe for good things toward you🙌🏾 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

When is it going to get easier for women?
How is it going to get easier?
—— We only have each other to bring about these changes. All we have to do is support each other.
It’s month end again, please as you top up your sanitary products please think of periodpoverty. I am appealing to your good side to help change lives in Zimbabwe.
A donation of three of one of the below:
~a packet of sanitary products ~a box of tampons ~a packet of three cotton black panties ~a set of three cloth re-useable sanitary pads ~a mestrual cup
~a post on your social apps asking for donations on our behalf...pretty please

Thanks
