Why we think that our weight and bodies are meant to stay the same as they were in our teens, 20s, 30s (or whenever), is crazy thinking. ⁣

Life is not stagnant, nor are our bodies supposed to be. If it wasn’t for fatphobia and weight stigma we would all be much more at ease and comfortable with our changing bodies. ⁣

When we stop trying to control them, and are in alignment with how to best care for ourselves in any given moment, whatever our weight is or what our body looks like is exactly where it’s meant to be. ⁣

We can take the stress off ourselves. If our body weight changes as life changes, we can rest assured we aren’t doing anything “wrong”, and we certainly aren’t a better for worse person because of it. ⁣
