✨Advocate✨ we’ve been talking a lot in our sessions about what it means to BE an advocate, as well as how one would GO ABOUT advocating.

These questions created some amazing discussions with my 10-12 year old group last night, and I’m excited to use it with even more of my clients who stutter! 💭

This would be an awesome discussion activity for National Stuttering Awareness Week that starts next week! 🤗

Yeah, articulation tests are important but you should always always ALWAYS do an intelligibility count 👏🏻

I’ve had lots of littles on my caseload that rock their way through the CAAP or GFTA at the word level, but once in conversation I’m like “wait, what?” 🤯

There is obviously going to be HUGE variability in percentages from child to child, but these numbers can help serve as an anchor. It’s also crucial to have intelligibility counts from both familiar AND unfamiliar listeners!
