Quick update: I'm continuing the social media break for LBH Wellness through the rest of the year, possibly indefinitely.

I'll keep my personal FB account, and probably create a new private IG account instead of use the business account to watch reels of kittens and puppies, because that's really the only thing I use IG for at this point.

I'm walking the talk, and practicing more structured self-care this summer. It's my version of living well, my way. 😉

As those of you on the LBH Wellness email list already know, as of now, I'll be spending less time creating content for social media and weekly emails, and more time resting and enjoying Portland summer (and possibly extending that out into Portland fall and winter, too).

The rest of my LBH Wellness-related time will be devoted to two things:

1. Creating new free content for the now monthly LBH Wellness email newsletter community, including exclusive stretch break videos and live events 😎

2. Updating the content in the Nutrition Label Navigator, Stress S.O.S. Kit, Yoga Outside the Studio, and Wellness Where You're At based on member feedback 🥰

Have you heard of or tried the 4-7-8 breath?

Try it out for yourself right now!

Sit up well, in a way that supports full, easy breaths.

Breathe in for a count of 4.

Hold for 7.

Exhale for 8.

Repeat at least 3 times.

This technique is a quick way to relieve stress with longer exhales compared to the inhales. What do you think after trying this? Let me know in the comments!
