Our new journey
Please see your new notice board in coed mor as we’re working towards becoming Dementia Friendly Abergele
Recently staff have attended training on the virtual Dementia Tour to gain insight into life with dementia to advance our training and improve the overcall care we deliver to our residents living with dementia
We are going to be working with dementia friends Abergele, all our staff will gain more knowledge but most of all our home, you will see lots of changes happening, We are committed to make changes in our home to improve all areas from accessibility, safety, and familiarity for all, this will be including clearer signage, better lighting, ultimately ensuring coed mor has familiar spaces that help reduce confusion, keep our calm environment calm and support independence for all residents
Of course we want our families and friends along this journey with us, we would love you to attend any training, drop in sessions and cafe afternoons please see our notice board for information
