Last May 23, 2026, the Laoag City General Hospital proudly supported the successful conduct of the ๐Ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐“๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข spearheaded by Pugad Lawin, Inc. - Laoag City-Ilocos Norte Chapter in coordination with the City Government of Laoag and Laoag City Population and Development Office.

As part of our commitment to accessible and community-centered healthcare services, LCGH provided the venue and manpower support for the activity. Our dedicated hospital staff worked hand-in-hand with SPES beneficiaries and student affiliates from the Divine Word College of Laoag - College of Nursing to ensure the safe and smooth delivery of services to the beneficiaries.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all partner organizations, volunteers, healthcare workers, and student-nurses whose collective effortsmade this meaningful initiative possible. Through collaboration and service, we continue to strengthen our commitment to the health and well-being of the community.

๐Š๐”๐†๐ˆ๐“ ๐๐”๐‹๐ˆ๐‹๐ˆ๐“ 2026

The Laoag City Government, through the Laoag City General Hospital and the City Population and Development Office, successfully conducted the first batch of the free circumcision program โ€œKUGIT BULILITโ€ last May 18, 2026 at the Laoag City General Hospital.

A total of 150 young beneficiaries, aged 9 years old and above, successfully registered and availed of the free circumcision services during the first batch. Another 150 beneficiaries are expected for the second batch on June 2, 2026.

This initiative aims to support families during the summer season by providing accessible, safe, and free medical services for the youth of Laoag City.

The activity was made possible with the support of the Ilocos Norte Medical Society, Divine Word College of Laoag โ€“ College of Nursing, and the Operating Room Nurses Association of the Philippines (ORNAP) โ€“ Ilocos Norte Chapter.

Together, we continue to promote health, service, and community care for every Laoagueรฑo.

With deep sorrow, the Laoag City General Hospital mourns the untimely passing of ๐‰๐š๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐. ๐“๐š๐ฉ๐ข๐š, ๐‰๐ซ., Administrative Aide I and a dedicated institutional worker of our hospital.

Sir Jaime was more than a member of our workforceโ€”he was a quiet pillar of service whose commitment, humility, and diligence contributed to the daily operations that keep our hospital moving. His presence, though often behind the scenes, was felt by many, and his work will always be remembered as part of the foundation of our service to the people of Laoag.
