Mental Health and Primary Care Medical Services We are accepting new patients for both primary care and mental health. We accept most major insurance plans.

Mental Health patients do require a referral from your therapist or member of your medical team.

🍀 As luck would have it this St. Patrick’s Day, we have some great news to share! 🍀

We’re proud to announce that Creative Medical Consulting is expanding our mental health and primary care services to Chestertown, Maryland.

Starting April 1, you can find us at Chester River Behavioral Health, located at 952 Washington Avenue. This location offers a dedicated off-street parking lot with easy access from Route 213, making your visit as convenient as possible.

We’re also happy to share that a new provider will be joining us at this location in May. Join us in welcoming Angela Lunczynski, FNP-BC to our Chestertown team! We will be sharing more about Angela in the coming weeks so keep an eye out.

Due to travel safety concerns for Monday’s snowstorm, our medical office will be closed in person. However, our providers will still be seeing clients via telehealth when appropriate.

👩‍⚕️ Welcome Sandi Pruett, MSN, APRN who joined our team last month and is now accepting new patients!!

🎓 Sandi became an Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2009 after earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Wilmington University.

🏥 She brings extensive experience in cardiology, emergency medicine, urgent care, and hospital medicine, and in 2020 earned her Post-Master’s Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from the University of Pennsylvania.

❤️ After spending three years in Atlanta working in cardiovascular surgery, she returned home to be closer to her sons.

🩺 Now at Creative Medical Consulting, Sandi provides comprehensive, patient-centered internal medicine care with clinical excellence and a personal touch.

This Valentine’s Day, we encourage you to practice self-love and gentle care at home:

📖 Read something comforting or familiar
📱 Text or call someone who feels safe

And if you have a pet, lean into their comfort. 🐾

Animals can help reduce stress, lower anxiety, and provide a sense of companionship. Sitting with your cat or dog, listening to their breathing or feeling their warmth, can be incredibly grounding and soothing.

Winter fatigue is real — shorter days can quietly drain our energy and mood.

☀️ The good news? Light is coming back.

By the end of February here in Delaware, we gain over 30 minutes of morning light and over 30 minutes of evening light compared to the start of the month.

Small shifts in daylight can bring big shifts in how we feel. Be gentle with yourself — brighter days are ahead.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Corporal Matthew Tyler Snook, the Delaware State Police, and law enforcement officers everywhere.

We honor Corporal Snook's service, courage, and unwavering dedication to protecting others, and we recognize the daily sacrifices made by all police officers who serve their communities with honor. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who are grieving this profound loss.
