These last few weeks I’ve been pretty much silent on social media(not that I’m a great user anyway!). I’ve been taking stock, listening, reading, learning, researching, reflecting, contemplating, breathing...

Realising that posting a black square isn’t enough. Realising the privilege I have as a white woman and how that privilege suppresses others. Realising that I am late to standing up to racism. Realising that I have some family & friends that are racist. Realising this is not just an American problem.

Man it’s heavy! It’s been a lot to digest and stirred up a lot of emotion... yet I hope this is finally an awakening for white people to do better, unpack our white privilege, to understand that Black Lives Matter and to put in the work and become actively anti-racist now and in the future. This includes myself. And if you’re not sure where to start, send me a DM, I’m no expert but there are some great resources out there to start doing the work.

A week ago we finished our 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with this bunch of incredibly strong women. Right now it seems like another lifetime or just a dream. I’m missing the routine, the learning, the sharing, the questions, the smiles, the heat! 🌞 🌑 🌴

〰️ A year ago today 〰️

A year ago today I quit my job, after years of working in the fashion industry... I had no idea the journey that would unfold in front of me.

Spending time in Bali, India and Sri Lanka. Learning & evolving, crying & laughing, making mistakes & unexpected opportunities, it’s been an incredible year. The universe has been kind, although it’s not been without it’s ups and downs, there are no regrets.

Big thanks to everyone who’s been a part of it. Namaste 💫

Back in the day, I used to paint and draw, or at least attempt to ...
feeling the urge to get back into it. Need to find an art shop in Kerala!
This is one that got lost to the universe somewhere in London... I wonder where it is now.
