Have you ever wondered what makes a bespoke menopause nutrition and lifestyle plan, effective at reducing and taking control of your menopause symptoms?

If you've gone to see your doctor about your menopause symptoms, you may have had around ten minutes of your doctor's time.

Like me, you've probably found that this is never enough to fully explain your symptoms and or needs. As a result, you may feel unheard and or not get the care you really wanted or need.

Does this sound like your experience?

With a bespoke menopause nutrition and lifestyle plan, you get the time for us to explore how we can create your bespoke plan. So you get the relief you need from your menopause symptoms.

I then create a suggested plan for you to follow, to help you get the relief you need.

We only make adjustments that are manageable, so you never feel overwhelmed.

Or feel like you're just on another diet.

This is a lifestyle change, so it is sustainable in the long-term.

You also get regular contact with me to motivate and support you throughout (depending on the plan you choose).

If this sounds like something you've been looking for, send me a DM and let's start your journey into reclaiming your happy, vibrant self!

Ladies of , are you looking for support with menopause symptoms? I shall soon be moving to Surrey and will be offering my Nutritional Therapy services. Here’s a quick peek

My simple menopause diet lunch for today.

Recently I’ve been trying some hacks to make eating nutritious meals for menopause easier.

This is a shop bought smoked haddock fish cake, with a cheese melting middle.

Much as I eat some convenience foods like everyone else, I need to have vegetables on the side.

So I cut up some cauliflower into florets, drizzled some olive oil, seasoned with black pepper and salt, as well as a sprinkling of smoked paprika.

Cook in the same oven proof dish with the fish cake for the duration of cooking time (20 minutes).

Et voila! Lunch is ready in no time!

The cauliflower provides compounds to support oestrogen balance, as well as support gut bacteria.

There’s also enough carbs in the potato, as well as proteins from the fish to help keep me full for longer.

How to get restful sleep in menopause?

When we were younger we could eat (to a degree) what we wanted and will still be able to lose weight easily.

As we get older our hormones play an even greater role and sadly, we need to work harder to lose weight.

At the core though, it’s important to support exercise with a nutrient rich diet.

After yesterday’s exercise, I had a stir fry for dinner.

This dinner provides;
- a source of protein that helped me feel full for longer, as well as help with healing and recovery
- a source of cruciferous vegetables from the cabbage, that may help metabolise and balance oestrogen
- fibre from the vegetables, to help feel full for longer and regulate bowel movements

I did have the stir fry with rice, I am Filipino after all 😉

The important thing is that my dinner helped stabilise my blood sugar levels.

With being tired from my exercise, I had such a restful sleep last night!

What makes you happy at midlife?

This is what makes me happy, the process of creating something and seeing it to fruition.

This is the set-up I’ve just created to start filming my video on how I’m making my homemade body lotion.

One of the things I read about women in this stage in life is the, ‘loss of sense of direction or purpose.’

I know how this feels and this is why I do what I’m doing.

This stage in life is not about losing ourselves, this is the time to find out what makes you happy.

What did you enjoy or want to do before you settled down and or had a family?

What have you always wanted to do but never had the time to do it?

Well I say midlife is NOW THE TIME!

Self-care at midlife isn’t just about diet, exercise and replacing hormones.

It’s about nourishing our inner selves too.

It’s about doing things that light us up.

I’ll be exploring this more in another video, so check out my channel for when I’ve posted it 😉

Link in my bio for my videos.

So what makes you happy and what would you like to do?

What motivates you to exercise?

Even though it was only 5 degrees out today, I went out for my walk/run.

It’s not so much for menopause weight loss, but more due to poor sleep.

I’d not been out for a walk since last Thursday and I had really bad sleep at the weekend.

Having 2-3 glasses of wine didn’t help either.

So even though it was extremely cold out, I pushed myself to go for a walk.

This included going up and down this hill 10x!

I might also add that I’d walked/ran 3k to get to the hill 😉

Needless to say I’m hoping for a good night’s sleep tonight!

Exercise isn’t just about helping to get tired for sleep, it also helps to:

- manage menopause weight
- regulate bowel movements to support hormone balance
- get rid of toxins through sweating
- helps circulate blood to your brain and may help with brain fog and memory issues

How active have you been today?
