Finally got the professional phots back form Texas Age Group State!! It is so hard to capture good photos at a swim meet but this company did an amazing job at capturing Bens great achievement of TAGS this summer!!

My beautiful girl! We have been blessed with amazing photo shoots since Payton has been crowned Miss Helotes with her crown and formal dresses! Thanks to Kim Bourquin we were able to sneak in some casual photos of her in her fashion outfit.
I can't believe my baby will be 17 next week and is a junior in High School. I am so proud of her and all that she has become. She is truly amazing and has overcome so many obstacles!

create BALANCE decided to go old school with the classic Nalgene. WHY you ask.... because it is simple and retro.
This is the exact water bottle we carried around when life was simple in college, when we went rock climbing, backpacking, on picnics and to the beach it just reminds Matthew Cottrill and I of simpler times..
A funny story..... the second day I met Matt down on Bradford beach in Milwaukee he has a classic blue nalgene bottle with water and his retainer in it. 🤣 I thought he was so HOT but I was a little weirded out by the retainer! .

This picture was the day I had my first anxiety attack. I remember this day so clearly it was exactly 4 years ago today. But it took me 3 years to realize what exactly it was, how to deal with it and to admit I was NOT Ok!
I have learned so much over the last 4 years and the #1 thing is it is ok to not be ok and ask for help. I wish more people talked about this years ago and told me it was ok to ask for help. But instead I just learned to live with the sick feeling in my stomach on bad days, spiraling out of control daily, having the shortest fuse ever with my family. I just told myself I had a great life I am not allowed to be broken. But guess what I just kept breaking more and more and it got worse and worse so bad that my immune system broke and I hit physical and mental health crash.
I want you to all know it is ok to ask for help. Let's help our society heal, once I got help I started to heal and am creating BALANCE in my life like I have never been able to do. Most important lets help our kids learn this lesson early!!

Keep your plate simple but add lots of color!! This was a clean the fridge out lunch and let me tell you it was delicious!!! Chicken, veggies and a sweet potato with almond butter!!!

Life is an adventure!!
COVID has changed our adventures a lot over the past 6 months and moving back to the USA has Sloan down all of fun foreign travels 😞.
We are working to get creative and slow it done and enjoy our home more!!! But I can’t wait to get back out on one of these adventures!!
